REQUEST A BENEFIT ESTIMATE

Participants who are planning to retire or to terminate their employment with the City can request an customized benefit estimate from the GERP administrative staff.  When requesting a customized estimate, please be prepared to provide the following information:

• The date you expect to leave your position with the City

• The percentage rate that you expect your pay to increase (if any) between now and your termination date

•  The date on which you plan to begin receiving your monthly retirement benefit

•  Your spouse's (or beneficiary's) date of birth [This date is used to calculate your "joint and survivor" pension payment option amounts.]

To request an estimate you may phone or stop by the GERP office, or email us at  auroragerp@qwestoffice.net.  Your estimate should be completed within one week and will be mailed to your home.

Your GERP records and any conversations that you have with the administrative staff are considered confidential. No information may be released to a third party without your consent.
